We buy gold and nothing else. That focus is deliberate. Gold is the metal we work with every day: we alloy it, size it, repair it, and use it to craft engagement rings, wedding rings, anniversary rings, and other fine jewelry. We know the material because we work with it at the bench.
Rings, chains, bracelets, earrings, class rings, and pendants in 9K, 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, and 24K, in any condition at all—broken, tangled, mismatched, or simply out of style.
Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, sovereigns, rounds, and bullion bars of any size.
Single earrings, snapped chains, bent settings, dental gold, and gold that is simply past the point of repair.
We do not buy silver, platinum, loose diamonds, or watches unless the watch itself is karat gold. We also cannot make offers on gold-plated, gold-filled, or costume jewelry. If you are unsure what you have, bring it in and we will test it at no charge.

Thirty years at the bench
Many gold buyers are purchasing primarily for resale or refining. We also use gold as raw material in our working goldsmithing shop, where it is melted, alloyed, repaired, and made into new jewelry. That gives us a very different relationship with the material and helps us make attractive, transparent offers.
Your gold is valued in a shop that actually uses and melts the material in-house. Depending on the day, you may even see gold being melted or one of our goldsmiths working on the next ring at the bench.
If a piece may be worth more sold privately than melted, we will tell you. And if you want to sell the gold but keep a diamond, we will let you know whether it makes sense to remove and keep the stone first.

Gold only. That means gold jewelry in any karat and any condition, gold coins and bars, and scrap or dental gold. We do not buy silver, platinum, watches, or loose diamonds, and we cannot make offers on gold-plated, gold-filled, or costume jewelry. If you are unsure which you have, bring it in and we will test it at no charge.

Yes. What you bring in and what you are paid stays between you and us. We do not post client transactions, and you will not be asked to be photographed or featured anywhere.
No. Walk in any time we are open. Calling ahead is worth it if you have a larger collection, need a longer conversation, or would rather not wait behind a repair customer.
A handful of pieces usually takes fifteen to twenty minutes from testing to a firm offer. A full estate lot takes longer, which is exactly why those are worth calling ahead about.
Government-issued photo ID is required by law for precious metal buyers in Sudbury—it protects you as much as it protects us. We also ask that the items be yours to sell.
